With applications in the maritime, lubricants, paints and many other industries in the UK and throughout the world, our equipment is precisely created and manufactured for exceptional performance, long life and continuous service. We manage the installation and use of the primary ultrasonic processing equipment in addition to producing it. The device is built using the principles of sonochemistry where sound waves travelling at 500 miles per hour create cavitation- with an implosion of micro bubbles – which breaks down particles into smaller micron sizes and creates changes in viscosity without heat i.e cold boiling. So far this technology has been used successfully in lube oil and paint manufacture. It has also been used for the removal of calcium carbonate from steel slag, recycling of cutting fluids, changing viscosity of heavy fuel oil to improve separation and processing of drilling waste, onshore and offshore. At our headquarters in the Wirral, UK, we design and make Hilsonic Process Equipment. Our distinctive transducer and generator design is made to resist the roughest environment while being easy for the end user to use and maintain.
